The Wooden Table Restaurant- Denver Italian Food at its Finest - 3 Course Meal for 2 $60

I might ruffle a few feathers saying this, but I think that The Wooden Table has some of the BEST Italian food in Denver. Technically Greenwood Village and totally worth the drive to the suburbs for this Restaurant. Just this past weekend, myself and two friends visited the Italian eatery for the first time. Everyone from the hostess, to our waiter, the front of house manager, to the food runner was absolutely fantastic. The waiter was knowledgeable about the menu and I took him up on his recommendation for the duck (which normally, I could take or leave) and I was not disappointed. The duck was roasted perfectly; lightly crispy on the outside, but still moist. It was served on a Butternut Squash Gratin and Pancetta Seared Brussels Sprouts. Quite frankly they are lucky I didn't lick the plate.

Probably the best duck that I have ever had

Hanger Steak, Creamed Potato and Bacon, Haricot Vert, Fried Shallots, Veal Reduction

Berkshire Pork Tenderloin Braciole, Pork Cheek Confit, Cranberries, Spaetzle, Red Cabbage
